About Smiths Grove, KY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Smiths Grove is a southern Kentucky city with a population of about 780 people. The city is situated in Warren County and is part of the Bowling Green Metropolitan Area. Warren County was established in 1796 and was named in honor of Joseph Warren, a military General who is praised for his service at the battle of Bunker Hill. Smiths Grove was incorporated as a city  1871.

Individuals visiting Smiths Grove will discover that it is a very pleasant city despite its small size. Children in the city are served by the Warren County Public School System and attend North Warren Elementary, located in the city. Older students attend schools located north of Bowling Green, the county seat of Warren County.

While exploring Smiths Grove, visitors will find there are a number of things to see and do around the city. Visitors who drive along Main Street should make note of the beautiful old homes situated along the street.  Those who explore further into the city will discover there are a number of historic buildings that provide a glimpse into the city’s rich past. Smiths Grove is also conveniently located south of Mammoth Cave National Park. The park is home to the longest known cave system in the world.

Smiths Grove experiences weather that is characterized by warm, wet summers and cold winters. The months of December, January, and February have daytime temperature highs that range from the mid to upper-40s on average. Residents should invest in heating systems that are capable of keeping indoor temperatures at comfortable levels during the colder months of the year. Also, during the summer months, residents should install central air conditioning units in their homes. Temperatures during the months of summer tend to vary from the mid-80s to low-90s during the daytime on average. However, record thermostat readings have climbed well into the 100s.
